lol yeah there is that in my room then boaphile stack in roommates room along with a smaller rack and 2 4 foot animal plastic cages then there is the lizards out in the living room area.

my collection will be growing and also getting smaller in the near future. lot of rethinking and slimming down going on. to many mouths to feed and change of future breeding plans.

yeah i know what you mean there, from what i have seen its seems that there are two types of collections.... one or two of everything.... or lots of one or two... lol and they seem to evolve from the former to the latter

it sounds like thats what you might be doing maybe? going from a lots of different types to a lot of a few different types... cut back in order to expand...

so just for fun conversation what are you plans for future breeding and collections

i think i finally got it figured out as far as what i want for for that. i myself am going through the same thing just on a much smaller scale lol instead of dozens of animals i only have 5 lol but of those 5 i have 4 diff species. i too would like to cut back on species so i can expand breeding projects.

after being in it for a while it seems i want more and more to move my collection in the complete opposite direction lol. i can tell you right now that i have no interest in working with corns or balls in the future for one reason or another even boas (well BCI not rainbows) i decided against fitting them into any future plans, well i should narrow that to near future i still really like anerys and ghosts but that would be more distant future if at all...

so here i am just starting out in 2010 with a few goals for the next ten years... i really would like to start breeding i should be able to breed Saphira and Torpaz this year once i do that hopefully i will be able to expand and get a few more BRBs for future breeding, once i start breeding a few pair i would like to possibly get some jungle carpets, maybe try my hand at breeding them...

so over the next ten year i would like to get myself somewhere in the range of 8-12 BRBs that should turn out 3-5 breeding pairs, that sounds pretty good to me. once the BRB are on thier way to up and running i would like to start picking up some jungle carpets, and same thing try breeding expand a little breed again expand a little more, in hopes to have maybe 6-10 animals 2 or 3 breeding pair would be fine for me maybe even 4.

so as i stand right now that is what i am gonna shoot for for breeding projects for the next ten years, there is still a chance i might get an animal here or there for a pet, i think a nice chondro would look great in that corner unit i made maybe i will do up a naturalistic set up in that.. i wouldnt mind getting a chameleon either lol... someday...and of corse if i ever had the chance to build a big cage i would have to get myself an emerald tree monitor, but thats still wishfull thinking at this point. first things first i have to get myself a job and get settled, either Albuquerque or new england somewhere then get married... wow lol thats alot right there lol...

my main breeding i want to do would include, jungle carpets, zebra jungle carpets, jungle jags, diamond jungle jags, pure diamonds. BRB (normals, het hypos, hypos) PRB(just one pair)
few very select projects with balls, and my main boa breeding i wanna do in future is my hypo jungle bein bred to the monster tail jungle.

one day down the road i would like single animals of: some sort of true local red tail boa, green tree python, emerald tree boa, gaboon viper, copper head, and not sure what else lol. time money and space will play a roll in how my future turns out with the animals. I have a love of all sorts of animals, normals morphs etc, I want them all lol. I got a lil to carried away with my balls and life hit a super hard spot and i realized that i got in a tad over my head.

any1 interested in pet rocks??? I have some extras lol

on the future breeding list would be a nice pair of boelens pythons

that sounds good sticking with rainbows and carpets for the most part huh with a few little side projects

that seems to be what caught my interest is just that the rainbows and the carpets. with a side project or even pet

i will most likely end up getting some type of chameleon i think that would be cool and also for lizards i would LOVE to at some point if i can get a green tree monitor...

for snakes i like when tom gets on and posts pics of all of those "lesser know or common"... shoot Ed went and got himself a Jamacian Boa those are awesome. and if i ever got a chance way down the road, i really like those Fords Boas i think it would be cool if i got a chance to work with some of those

I love when Tom posts in here just wish he would go offtopic some times and show some pics of his diamonds, and his albino and blue iguanas etc etc.

I would much rather have a blue tree monitor then a green one lol but thats just me.

I forgot to add in my list a pair of smokin hot madagascar ground boas.

yeah balls got a little out of control. I really like them ALOT but I wasnt looking at what I really wanted to breed when I got all them but instead I Was going ooo snakes I WANT!!!! lol
