6 Month Old Mex Mex

Jlassiter Jan 08, 2010 10:59 PM

I picked these two jewels up from Don Shores in Daytona.....
The granite one is a female and is nearly 18 inches already....Downing two small fuzzies a couple times a week..

The bright red one is the male...he is a sibling to the female. He's is around 16 inches already and eating just as well as the male......

These two are a couple of my favorite snakes in the snake room......

HI John

Both are great looking animals. The one with larger blotches really catches my eye. I would like to ad some to my collection if I could fine some that nice.

Keep posting pics, I love it.

Thanks Mr. Nelson......
The RED on that male is probably the best I've seen....And I've seen a couple Mex Mex in my day....LOL

These two will go in 2011 at the earliest, but I never count my snakes until they hatch......I hate not filling waiting lists and they are just about as full as I want them for this year....

Also.....I think Mex Mex are going to make a stellar comeback especially with all the morph/phase crosses being started this year!

I will certainly keep posting these since they are becoming my favorite ssp to work with......At least they are running a CLOSE second to thayeri.....

Wow John. The colors really pop on those two. They look like they don't miss meals either!! Can't wait to see your future hatchlings. You have quite the collection going on.

Thanks Phil.....
It seems the males are always cleaner and brighter....
I think it is dimorphic, but I am sure it isn't proven.....
I have only seen a few females that looked as bright and clean as a male.....

Post some pics of them.....
I can't get enough of them....
I don't need anymore I just would love to see them.....
