Pink Eastern

Jeff Schofield Jan 09, 2010 12:02 AM

I love taking this girl to shows because all the little girls at the show just HAVE to hold her. You know girls and their PINK,right? I know the pic isnt the best(we all know about my pics)but if we can start making pink snakes I think our wives and girlfriends might change their minds a little. Right? I mean, sure, she has 25% brooksi in her and het for hypo, but I really dont care about purity if I can make snakes girls like better! OK "purists", argue with THAT logic! LMAO!

John,

Once you start knowing shades of pink, your manhood is already in question. Next thing you know you'll be discussing throw pillows, sconces and accessorizing.

This one is a HYPO eastern/brooksi cross and has the brightest yellow I have seen on a king. Poop on the hand, she doesnt like me.

Jeff Schofield Jan 09, 2010 12:17 AM

I posted a "greening" one of these last week but this one is turning ORANGE. It looked like a regular chain king baby til about a month ago! Its from a breeding that started with a HYPO brooksi x albino chain king. Those babies were grown up and bred together so these are possible het HYBINO, some very different looking kings. Call em generics, bastards, whatever you want. These are FUN with the variability and TONS of color!

Jeff Schofield Jan 09, 2010 12:27 AM

OOPS,FYI, got the genetics wrong. These were a Hypo brooks/eastern x albino eastern so these are 75% chain. Here is the orange one's green brother.

Has there ever been a documented true albino eastern?

antelope Jan 09, 2010 10:50 AM

Jeff,

Women already control enough of our lives with their "pink" if ya know what I mean. Must we now let that control our sacred hobby also? Im gonna go drink a beer, scratch myself and watch football now.

Craig, thats supposed to be an illusion you know. You really arent supposed to let it happen. Didnt you get the memo? Just talking marketing here, but is there a sexier woman than one that is into herps too? There arent many, but there hotness factor is increased with their interest in herps right? Its behind tolerance and jumping on a trampoline but its there!

Dan_W Jan 09, 2010 08:02 AM

Whatever it is, those exceptionally thick chain patterns give it a fantastic overall look. Just be sure to take the snake out when no one else is around, or they'll take you for a sissy... LOL

Seems like a lot of forumites are talking about Eastern Kings these days -- good move, as I think that they are highly underrated.

CrimsonKing Jan 09, 2010 09:58 AM

Of course, you don't need a bybrid to get pink

This guy is "pink", "orange" and "purple"

I have some with much more pink but generally it's "pink" because it's fading from a darker red with age.

Whoa! The color shades on that snake are amazing! Is it an adult? What's its genetic background?

joecop Jan 09, 2010 11:33 AM

Awesome snake Mark. If I were not color blind I could see all the colors that my wife sees in that snake. I trust her!!LOL. Very nice.

CrimsonKing Jan 09, 2010 04:01 PM

It's a hypo FL king from one of my pairings. (Originally Love, Krysko,Beard) He has bred a few females here and is on tap to breed again this season unless I go for the more yellow looks again.
