IF YOU ASK ME.....

Jeffrodgers Jan 09, 2010 03:30 PM

I think it's pretty crappy for Pro Exotics not to post pics of the Lavender Clown... folks have waited years to see it and now that it's produced they don't post pics?!?

I know I would love to see pics of the animal even if it isn't all that nice looking right now. Please Robyn post pics of the animal that we're all wishing we could see.

I don't think they produced one. Of course, PE knows how they can PROVE me wrong.

Afterall, seeing is believing!!! lol

Bill you may be right.

One would think if you hit on a double recessive of that stature you would want to post pics everywhere. Unless they show pics of the animal it has yet been produced IMO also....

Pitoon Jan 10, 2010 07:34 AM

i wouldn't jump to fast on saying they didn't produce one.....

do you remember the whole story on the "Panda Pied" and it was months before a picture finally got posted.

maybe they choose not to post a pic of the animal...it's their choice whether to post or not to post.......

Still disappointing though *grumble* *grumble*. I respect their choice, but I'm a BP pic addict like so many others. Show me the money!

I beleive they responded to a similar message before stating that the snake was not looking that great yet. ONce it had developed better color they would post pictures.
I would rather wait a year and see a stunning animal, than be disappointed by a picture of a snake whose potential color was not yet seen.

I don't REALLY doubt that they did not produce it. Just a little good natured ribbing on my part in order to call attention to not having posted photo -- after more than a few months.

Truth is, no new combo "exists" these days until said animal is posted on public forum -- just the way it is. If newer breeder/less known were to post having produced a similar highly anticipated combo -- he would be catching all kinds of grief!!! Surely Chad and Robyn will not take offense a thread such as this -- in fact I suspect they would have expected more of them before now -- given the time that has passed.

I am a firm believer/supporter in breeders keeping combos and projects "under wraps" -- for AS LONG AS THEY WISH!!! But if you claim you made it -- I feel it is reasonably to expect a "visual" -- MY opinion.

Yeah I'm the same way, unless I see the animal with my two eyes it has yet been produced. I seen pics of the panda pied weeks after it had been produced. I think PE should prove us all wrong and post pics of the animal.

Fine. I asked Chad if he would help with a Lavendar Albino Clown pic, and he obliged. Here it is. Produced from VPI double het Lavendar Albino Clown parents.

I hate those blurry morphs. I prefer crisp, clean patters. Too bad. Such an investment too...

;D Cute pic, BTW.
