2008 Female Sunrise

Jeremy Pierce Jan 09, 2010 05:03 PM

Had the camera out today for the first time in a while. This is one of last years Sunrises. I couldn't get the color to come out in the pics for her. She wasn't happy with me and didn't feel like sitting nice for a glamor shot!

God bless and take care.

This is the best one I've produced yet. He is awesome in person. Can't wait to see how he develops.

Thanks Billy! I'll try to get more pics taken this year. I bought the new camera last year and just didn't use it for much other than family. I'd really like to build a photo "booth" for backgrounds instead of just bedding. This winter is sure giving me lots of time to make to do lists for spring!

Take care!

Never seen one quite like that! I bet she has a sort of bluish look to her sides? In the pics it kinda looks like it has a shedding skin that hasn't quite started to peel off.... no offense but what is the goal of a sunrise? Does it have an iridescence to its sides? It kind of looks like a white-sided bull is all that I am getting at, but I do really like the tail on yours for sure.

No offense taken. It actually is a whiteside but it has red bull genetics in the background. The front third of the bodies have a really jeweled look to them and the dorsal color is a reddish/yellowish blonde. The saddles nearer the head tend to be somewhat purple/gray and the overall pattern tends to be reduced towards the tail. It has been a long time since I've posted anything here and there are many new people that I don't recognise so to better explain, here is an article that I wrote several years ago on polygenic inheritance that describes the project.

Thanks for looking and take care.

Thanks Randy. Hey, I just saw the Extreme Hypo Hondurans that Jud got from you in Daytona. I haven't seen them for a couple of months. They are INCREDIBLE! I've never really been into Hondurans a bunch but those are just insane!

Thanks again and take care. Hopefully we'll run into each other again in Daytona.
