. Well...I find the uro's not as demanding as far as care, but a little harder to tame. ALtho I can handle mine, its not like I can let them wander the house freely (they are so quick and just take off and squeeze into everything and anything!). But still enjoyable to watch and have.
As far as smartness, hard to say. Seems that my ig "knows" more about what is going on. For example, when she came out to roam the house the first time, by the 2nd time, she knew exactly how to get around my place (its 28x80' ranch home) and still find her way back to her area. My uro's don't do that. Just seems a little more smart in that kind of way.
I think of my Ig as more like a hairless cat LOL She likes to do her own thing, quiet, potty trainable, but still likes to be with you and be petted and held. Just like a cat
(does some pretty good leaps too up onto furniture! LOL)
Just what i think..but still love all my "babies" for what they are
