Breeding

BeArDyCrAzY May 25, 2003 04:07 PM

I have a pair of leopard geckos that i am trying to breed. When i first introduced the male to my female the male began to shake his tail and nip my female. My female snapped back at the male, is this supposed to happen? (this is my frist time breeding leos) How will i know if breeding has taken place? How long will it take for my gecko to lay her eggs? and last question, what is better to use as an incubation medium, perlite or vermiculite?? Thnx for your help

the nipping is all normal. the eggs will be laid in a few weeks. and its all personal opinion on vermiculite or perlite.
