I remember several years ago when it was first produced. I believe the guy called it "strawberry" albino argentine. and yes, a killer looking snake, no doubt!

NUCCIZ_BOAS Jan 11, 2010 08:33 PM

those are the same pics that were posted 2 years ago or so when it was first produced..... That boa has grown since then (I would hope so anyways......), I wonder why there is no new pics of it? Im gonna guess the colors have faded slightly since it was a baby

I thought it looked quite small for its age.

Advertised as an albino Argentine, then when pressed (think within this forum), stated it was an albino argentine CROSS colombian, but don't think that detail ever made it into the actual ad. Now it's marketed as a coral albino, that MAY have some argentine in it. The price has dropped though. I think it was at least 2500 before. Nice looking snake, too bad whoever is selling it can't just give accurate information on the animal.

The person who bought it and is seling it now wasn't told it had Argentine blood in it when he got it. I was advertised as a Coral and never said it had Argy in the actual ad. It was brought to his attention when he posted it on the forums. So,he's not misrepresenting the animal as he only has what he's been told by other people to go on. He was not aware nor did the orignal seller make him aware it was a cross in the begining. Just want to clear things up for Paul as i'm sure he's not aware of this thread or else he'd clear it up himself.

Why's he already selling her? I assumed it was the same seller because she was up as an albino argentine not that long ago (within a year???). I guess the other guy got tired of dealing with the argentine bit and just decided to sell her as a coral albino or something. Maybe he sold it, then someone else resold it????? He should just keep her, she looks awesome!

Thks Ruben,

I just saw this...I have owned this animal for a few years now so it was me selling her before and then deciding not to. I was told when I bought her that she was a coral albino, after showing it around people told me they thought she had Argentine blood in her. I tend to agree, but have NO PROOF at all. Its all speculation. Therefore I really never know how to advertise her, so I just put coral...although I have put in ads before that she could be possible Argentine because to me thats what she looks like, but I wont state that is what she is for sure ever cause I dont know.

I am not trying to misrepresent her at all...in fact if you go look at the the thread where the ad is, I right away when asked stated that it is THOUGHT that she has Argentine blood in her. Everyone is so ready to jump on people in this hobby its crazy.

FYI, her colors have NOT faded AT ALL...in fact they look stronger than when I bought her, to the person that was saying that the pics are old and the reason there are no new pics is because I am hiding that her pink has faded....lol....not in the slightest. I will have new pics of her this week.

The only reason Im selling her is I have extremely limited space and time...I love her actually and would love to breed her and see what she throws...but I have to focus on not more than a couple projects and unfortunately for her, I have other higher priority projects.

I thank Ruben for chiming in here to let some people know that not everybody is trying to pull something on others...and I am for sure not one of those people....anyone who has done any snake business with me knows this....I am very straight forward and honest.

HI
I didn't mean for this thread to go the way it did. I just stated she is a gorgeous animal and I would definately jump at the opportunity to purchase her if I could afford it.
And yes you did say you thought there is a possibility of her having argentine blood. Which is cool BCO are my fave.
Either way she is gorgeous!!

Its all good, I just wanted to make a few things clear as there seems to be some confusion. She is a great looking snake and I will have updated pics of her very soon, she is in blue right now but should shed any day. Thks for the compliments.
