Frozen Boa constrictor

Given the discussion below about the validity of the USGS python range map, I figured I'd post this article.

I'm betting we will see similar pictures soon... of burmsicles.

If there's evidence the burms are moving south due to the cold, well, that's just more empirical, real-life proof showing what most of us already know.

nothing like a nice fresh snakecicle I have one back in WI but its a carpet and is coiled real nice lol.

My buddy was tellin me of a article where some guys cichlids (fish) further south in florida were freezing on him. I have kept and bred many species of cichlids and I have also well put them through Hell and they are very hardy fish and dont like to die easily, even when badly injured from fighting.

lol thats another thing I cant wait to get into again one day, keeping and breeding fish. tho I am interested in large and also agressive species. I would love some huge peacock bass and arowanas.

was fun making cichlid hybrids also most people wouldnt think keeping fish is fun but I sure enjoyed it

My dad used to breed/sell cichlids and other tropical fish. He had a few huge arowanas, those are awesome fish. I never really got into the hobby, although I did have an oscar for a while. They are very similar to indigo snakes. Smart and VERY messy!
