The color on this pair is just amazing to me.....

Male - shed today.

Female - just cleared up and should shed tomorrow.

These two are unrelated and are both '09's

Wow... that girl made her way to California!

I struggled with parting with this animal... it was/is very unique looking... it appears to be a "Blaze" but YELLOW!

should be a very interesting looking adult.

Yeah, I was stoked when I found out this girl came from some of your work. She is going to fit in very nicely with the group of possible hets I got from you.

These crosses can be alot of fun. Is the first pic a hypo flame? Are these het for the other? Still trying to get decent pics of my new Blaze, they blow away the line I had been working with. Here is a pic of a Hypo goini/brooksi. I like the more banded pattern instead of the top heavy or random patterned with a heavier Brooksi influence. The hypo brooksi/Eastern line is producing a much more obvious banding(as it should).

These are great snakes and I cant wait to start working with them.
The ones you posted recently are outstanding.

All three of these are from double het pairings - hypo flame brooksi and blaze phase goini. The first pair pictured appear to show both traits simultaneously - but I'm no expert.
I love 'em regardless!

Not sure where you got em(Zenny?)or what the pairing was that made them. The major problem with that pairing is that it can be very difficult to know what's what. They could be double hets, but I dont see more than 1 gene expressed in either pic. It makes it difficult marketing and selling em if you cant be 100% sure on the genes. The head pattern of BLAZE are usually pretty obvious(see pic).
I am only adding to the confusion because I used the Bell line. While very striking, the genetics of my line arent fully known as the records werent kept well. My first test breeding(which these snakes are offspring)assured me that the HYPO Brooksi gene is part of it. Does BLAZE make up the other part(like the hi-end patternless from Zenny and Tom's)?? Time will tell. But the variability between Eastern/Goini/Brooksi combining morphs etc is a GOLD MINE for nice looking kings for sure! This one is a straight BLAZE Goini but so clean and colorful compared to the line I am working with. He is really that orange!

Thanks for shedding alittle light on this stuff. The one thing that I know for sure is that this cross does produce some amazing snakes. Like you stated, the marketing and selling can be tough but I try to call 'em like I see 'em - if I'm not sure what's what, I try to make that clear as well.

The head pattern is a tell tale trait with the Blaze lines...? I didnt know that. I assume you're referring to the lack of pattern and the dark markings in the fusing of the plates..
