New Look / For Goodness Snakes 2010

FGS Jan 13, 2010 02:39 AM

My webmaster, Jonel Lopez and I have been making a lot of changes to my Website. I'm hoping the changes will make everyone's visit to the site a more enjoyable experience.

If anyone is looking for a great webmaster, then Jonel Lopez is the guy to contact. The combination of his computer skills, passion for snakes, commitment to his clients and his easy going personality make him the perfect webmaster. He can be reached at (408)655-5118. It's friends like Jonel that make this business so enjoyable.

The final draft isn't due to be completed for a few more weeks, but I'm getting excited about the changes.

I hope you're all having a great 2010 season.

Good job. I esp like you short videos showing your snakes. I didnt know you were that into Balls too. You sunglow motley is looking nice and big.. And that Hypo Mot is already 5 1/2ft and lbs.. Thats huge for a 2008. What you feeding them things over there, lol.. Question, with the size that Hypo Mot ahs already, will you breed her next year? Or wait 2 years?

Just kidding it looks great Brian! One question though, the snake that forms your letter "G" in Goodness... is that a Boa or a Ball Python?

Jeff, Your so funny......

Most people don't know this, but in 1983 I was bit by a Rattle Snake and went into a coma for 3 days, hence the Rattle Snake on my logo. Then in 1998 I gave a Sinaloan Milk Snake mouth to mouth resuscitation after it had been killed and eaten by one of my California King Snakes. I was able to revive the Sinaloan Milk Snake and he made a full recovery. I ended up writing an article for Reptiles Magazine about the incodent. I ended up naming the Sinaloan Milk Snake "Lazarus" so that's why the "S" in the Snakes part of my logo has a halo over its head and why it's a tri colored milk snake.

Here is a link of the article I wrote for Reptiles Magazine about Lazarus.

I hope everyone is having a great season.

It's looking great Brian! I didn't know those stories were the reasons for the logo, very cool and gives it all a much deeper meaning.

I hope you are doing well and good luck to you on all your projects this season! I hear you have got some cool youtube vids I need to go check out.

LOL, to many snakes to list, last count (05/26/2009):
36.51 BRB
29.42 BCI
And those are only the breeders

lots.lots.lots feeder mice and rats

Dave,

I've decided to remove the available page from my web site. It is very time consuming to manage. Selling my snakes through KS classifieds, our local shows and to local buyers that stop by to see the collection has been very effective.

Best of luck with your season bud

Hmmm, I manage all my own website updates including all the available pages with pics of all available animals and those already on hold etc. Does not seem to be that labor intensive except for initial page build (loading all the pics takes a while). Have you thought of maintaining that portion yourself? Would be happy to sit with you for a while and see if that's something you could handle.

Just my $0.02 but thinking about the cursory glance at your site a new customer would give, it's not clear you even sell animals.

Of course ultimately it's your choice,I just know from my own side that my website has contributed directly to my sales including sales to people that did not find me through KS.

BTW, I fed your girl a couple days ago and re-introduced Apollo last night. He went back to work on her before I could even close the cage door.
