i am looking for clean , bright colors and heavy black bands with no black tipping on the red or orange bands - kinda like what the okeetee breeders have been doing - just really pretty hondurans - anyone know a good breeder ? thanks

I do!!

No actually there's a few people that are well known for their Hondurans. Although, many have been breeding towards a reduced pattern.

Just be sure to chose some one reputable. I have kept snakes on and off for 20 years, so when I built my Honduran breeders I figured it wouldn't matter who I purchased from I can care for the animal just fine. But when an awesome female hatchling escaped I emailed the guy I brought her from and the next year he was quick to give me a replacement at a lesser cost. Not every one would do that, especially at a time when Hondurans were so hot and I needed a single female. That was time from Third Eye (Thanks by the way).

There are hundreds of guys breeding, but not all are the same after the sale, and sometimes that little difference is important.

Don Shores has great stuff and is also helpful, so is Shannon Brown - and I never actually brought from him but he has answered a hundred questions from me.

Good luck in your search

there are a few people working with th animals you are looking for.
Randy Wittington has some outstanding "normal" animals also.

Those are beautiful snakes.

He does have a web site, at: http://www.hotsnakes2go.com/index2.html .

I wrote him trying to get some individual pics before I bought my hondos, but he never sent any so I spent my hondo money with a different breeder. He didn't have those aberrant ones on his website, either!

Sorry about the confusion. I raised the aberrants. Pete sold me some milks that are very nice. I was just showing off mine. Dont have any pics of his but check out pete's website for some very nice tangerines and albinos and others. I plan on getting more from him.

thanks - no need to apologize to me - i just dont dig aberrants - other than looking at them - truly amazing what a few generations of selective breeding can do - it is an evolutionary bottleneck - and change can happen quickly
