Those things are like garters I guess, very common in the right areas?

True Todd, I dont see many garters these days but when I do find them they seem to be well established, and scarlet kings are without doubt abundant where I collect. JB

It also happens to be that time of year. I've been finding quite a few in north florida, south carolina though by far seems to be the best place to find them, especially in the charleston area.
