what tortoises dont get huge??

I am interested in some day getting a tortoise (not right this moment considering i cannot accomidate it at the moment).... but someday. Ive been looking and asking questions here and there, but i realize that many of them grow to very large sizes. I was wondering if there is such a tortoise that doesnt get humungous, but is still suitable as a companion.
