Things that make you go hmmmm...

A question for the California folks.....

If LA and San diego area (south end of the state) are collectively known as "Socal"....

And SF bay area/Sacramento areas (central area of the state) are collectively known as "Norcal"....

What would you call the Redding area (north end of the state) ???

Far-Norcal, Way-Norcal, Norcal and a half, Almost-Ore????

Hmmmmm.....

I have seen on peoples cars truck etc. Norcal but never really thought that we are not Norcal. When in fact we're central cal but i guess that just doesnt sound as "cool" lol

If you actually look at the state and where we are and split it in half we being upper would be in the Nor.Cal. part.

We call those people half-baked
lol

According to Wiki, CA is basically divided as you stated SoCal and NorCal, they also said the far northern area is sometimes referred to as "Northstate" or "Upstate"

I call Redding to the Oregon border Speed Trap Alley myself. Every time I drive through those towns they've got someone pulled over.
