. . . at least by today's definitions.
The kicker, for me, is the purplish tail. Whenever you see that - it's usually on a darker animal. It also has huge areas of melanin.
It's very pretty.
It wouldn't happen to be male . . . .????

I've never held onto any of her offspring, but most didn't seem to be staying dark. Last year she laid 18 eggs, this year she's already laid 10 with this male.
