oh boy...im starting to think i may have a 'hot' female on my hands...

divinitry Sep 19, 2003 02:46 PM

I have a hatchling that is absolutely INSANE...it was incubated at 89 degrees. Everytime you walk by its cage it starts running around and hissing and lunging at anything in sight, and I have a hard time changing water/feeding it because it lunges at my hand whenever it comes near the cage. It is only about 3 weeks old, and it has been separated from its clutchmate. Does anyone know anything else about 'hot' females? Any ideas? Thanks.

Geckos have different personalities. Some are fiestier thann others. At 89 degrees it should be male unless it got hotter than that.

well it was AROUND 89/90 degrees, but obviously I can't be positive that there wasn't any temp fluctuations...the thing is that I've had crazy and energetic hatchlings but never anything like this...you just have to walk into the room and this one starts hissing and jumping.

I have a 'hot' female, she's also a blizzard. Think she'd be real fiesty, no?

I've gone for walks in the park with her before. And she layed eggs for me this past season. She's also my best eater.

Can't say a single negative thing about my hot blizzard female.
