Hi,I'm new to kings..all my experience is with corns&ball pythons..I have 2 new baby kings. One is an albino prairie and the other is a chain/florida mix. They don't seem to be calming down the way the corns have. All my corns have calmed down with handling.these kings are strung out.Is that normal? Please tell me they eventually calm..Thanks

yeah they calm down, just keep handling them daily and be careful about sudden motions and don't approach towards their head.

They will calm down once you get them up to small mouse eating size. I don't think handling them at a small size will make them calm down.

I gurantee that if you FEED those as much as they will eat you will see them calming down in a couple months. Feed mice as large as they can take. Get them off fuzzies.
