Disinfecting?

Andres Jan 19, 2010 06:40 PM

Hi, I need to know how to disinfect a terrarium that recently had a dead snake in it for a little under a week. My friend's snake died and he slacked on taking it out, and is giving me the tank for my snake.

Thanks.

Bleach and water.....Scrub and let air dry for a day....

John is right and I will ad that if at all possible, leave that tank out in the sun for a day. The sun kills damn near everything you really dont want in a cage.

Of course it is January, and here in So. Cal. anything put outside right now is likely to float away.......
