New York Anti-Reptile Bill A07935
Prohibits the ownership, possession or harboring of a wild animal or reptile;
makes violation a class E felony.

Don't own any "wild" reptiles! A good lawyer could tear that apart! Unfortunately, you don't want to pay a lawyer to do so! What Conn. accident are they referring?

I think this is referring to wild reptiles. I'd contact your fish and game for clarification.

They are just upping the anti to a class E felony for violators of the current law which states that we can no longer keep certain big constrictors and monitors, venomous herps, cocs and so on. They are not looking to ban more species, just increase the penalty for violators of the current rediculous law.
