What's Your Favorite Florida King?

Dan_W Jan 21, 2010 05:50 AM

It's a difficult call, since so many of the morphs are beautiful... I'd probably choose a hypo Brooksi as my favorite, followed by a golden Peanut Butter.

This is one of Brandon Osbornes Sulfurs. The pic I believe is from his friend Zenny?

an amazing looking snake there!

I hope to get my hands on some good-old-fashioned-het-for-nothing Sulfurs next season.

Anerythristic, followed by ghosts and snows made with the anery gene.

boneyard Jan 21, 2010 12:36 PM

Anery Ghost is probably my second favorite.
I think there have only been 3 of these produced.

That is awesome! Did you produce it? Also, your flame hypo is sick! Total hot sauce.

boneyard Jan 21, 2010 02:18 PM

Thanks!
I produced it in '08.
He should breed back to his mom this year.

I don't own any anymore, but my favorites are Sulfur Lavenders and Peabinos........

Probably one of my newest morphs.

I think i should name it the Qualude morph because he is so relaxed.

WOW; that's beautiful! Will it become solid white as an adult?

Bluerosy Jan 21, 2010 03:06 PM

He is already solid white. No pattern whatesover.

..........don't forget to add an extra "a", it's Quaalude, not Qualude.

Wouldn't want to see you putting your own marketing spin on this word too like how you chopped up the term hypererythristic..LOL!

......."China white", after the very potent and sedative heroin..LOL!

After all, it is a solid white snake, and not brown

I have to admit, my 2 favorite florida kings are the hypos I got from John Cherry, and the New England Axanthics I got from you, I guess you just can't go wrong with Floridana. Trying to decide which way to go with them next. Probably try to pair something up with the het Pewter male you sent me.

My first snake is/was a fem hypo and she's great but don't know if I could choose. That's why i have 8 of them. I do have an axanthic het for pb & hypo from Rainer that is awesome and I have a het pb male normal from Nok Tom that I love.

Even with all the morphs sometimes a normal Florida King is as awesome as any morph. I just think we take the normals for granted

antelope Jan 21, 2010 01:57 PM

One of Mark K's animals I got several years back, a nice hypo male. With all the great morphs out there, I still like this the best.

Gotta say I really like a good natural. Best color and contrast mix with the yellow and black tips...

Yeah, love a really nice looking natural brooksi too, but love many of the hypos out there as well. Old bad pic of my first natural brooksi, in the early 80's. Second, one of a few red hypo's I have.

Matt, is he a "common Brooksi", or a certain color phase of Brooksi? I've seen him before in other posts, and he's a screamer!
