Irian Jaya color morphs???

reptaphille Sep 19, 2003 05:19 PM

Hey there. I have some irian jaya blue tongues that all look about the same that are from there parents that I also have. They all have pretty much the same color except for one thats light colored and has golden bands like a northern.( dont know how that happened)The rest have dark marooned colored bands and black on the sides with a little cream flecking. Then I have one unrealated to the others thats light colored on the bottom and is yellow on its back with big thick almost orange bands unlike my others. My question was could this yellowish one be from a diffrent part of irian jaya? Is there diffrent color morphs from diffrent locales like the solomon island skink? It could make some pretty interestring color morphs if they could be selectively bred! Does anyone know or care? Thanks, Nate Ps. All post some pics up when I get a digital camera.
