I will be taking some pics of my BP's and wanted to get some input on what is best to really bring out the pattern and colors?
Im going to do Inside and outside shots.
Two things are important for taking photos
- Background
Don't use busy backgrounds. They will draw all the attention away from your snake.
- Light
Make sure the light falls in the right way. When you take pictures inside make sure the light that comes from a window or anything is on your side and not in your back or in front. When you make photos outside make sure your shadow is not on the snake.
And of course be very patient. Snakes don't listen en sometimes it takes a while to have them in a nice position. Most of the time I just let them roam. After a period they will stop and lay calm for a while by themselves.
