This is a photo of my new rack for large colubrids. The tubs are the christmas tree storage tubs(Iris v-750?). I used rough cut 2"X8" lumber that I had laying around for the uprights and cheap melamine shelving(seconds from the local Bush furniture factory). 2"X2" supports and some drywall and deck screws- add some flexwatt under the end of the tub that has wheels and done.
Simple and easy to build. Total cost about $20 before the Iris tubs($25each at Walmart after Christmas).
I house Black Pines, Lined Pines, Northern Pines, etc. and they are the perfect size. I really like these as they are easy to clean and heat and are large enough for some pretty big snakes.

>>What the hell is a Holiday Tree?

A PC version, of Xmas tree.

A tree that non-christians use during the Holiday period to justify the economic push do buy presants.

If one doesn't celebrate Xmas its hard to have a Xmas tree...

This is not to start a debate but I think these are actually marked with Christmas tree storage box on the label.

Hey, I like the rack! I figured I should post my rack pics up as well then. I built my VE-175 rack about about 2.5 years ago and I am really liking it.

I am currently housing Brazilian Rainbow Boas in this rack and I also really love the size of these tubs as well as the wheels. This year I'm trying it out for breeding.

I heat mine with 11 inch wide X 2 ft pieces of heat tape and a Herpstat Nd thermostat. How are you currently heating yours, and do you feel like they keep a steady temp?

Anyway, its nice to see others using these huge tubs!

Your rack is very nice. I heat with a 16"X16" flexwatt tape under the back end of each one and control it with a cheap rheostat. Seems to hold a good temps.
Mine are a little rough as I used lumber I had onhand. I should install wheels but for now they slide around the cement floor OK when I need to move them. I like to see in the sides but I have some snakes that are nervous and won't eat if I'm working in the room and those closed side would be nice for them.
I did get condensation in one because she spilled her water, but otherwise they get plenty of air from the gap at top.
