omnivorous Greek?!?

My Greek tortoise, Spartacus, has been enjoying his new outdoor habitat for some time now. I always check on him first thing when I get home from work. Yesterday, there was this nasty, dead beetle in the enclosure and it looked...well, munched! Is it possible that Sparty snacked on a beetle? Yuck! Even if he did, I'm sure it's not a big deal. I was just curious if Greeks occasionally eat bugs. Thanks.

The will eat insects - if they can catch them. It is reported in the wild they will nibble on bones, and carron as well.
