And he goes and bites you! I've had my baby male ball, Niles, for about four months. I attempt to handle him at least three times a week, of course not the day of or after he eats, and I've had no problems with him. I recently moved him and his girlfriend, Daphnie, to a larger enclosure; from a 20 high to a standard 29. Today was the first day I handled them since I moved them, about five days ago. I picked her up, she was fine, I reached down to grab him and snap! Clamped right onto my hand. Are they just pretty stressed? Or what could the issue be? Please help, I don't want to have to change his name to Cujo.

I wonder if you have to treat them as if you JUST got them, and let them accclimate for a few weeks. The Temps. and other things have changed drastically and ball pythons are the sensitive kind
How old are they? Maybe he was mad that you touched his girlfriend?? Just a silly thought!
