As much as i love wings, i always have a surplus of wing tips ,was wondering if anyone has tried this as a supliment along with a rodent??? (NO SAUCE) RAW My Jumbo Kings are forascious I was Thinking They would like em.??????

I'm thinking that's a terrible idea. Uncooked chicken is rife with disease. That's why people cook it before they eat it... SO IT DOESN'T KILL THEM!
I'll also add that with my getula it's hit or miss trying to get them to eat (whole) f/t chicks. So I doubt you could even get them to take your leftovers.

I've accidently had a florida king eat boiled chicken, so maybe if the wings were boiled it wouldn't be as unsafe as raw.

Some years ago I new a boa (bci) guy that fed his females raw turkey drumsticks. He said it put weight on quicker because of a higher fat content. He did that for years and as far as I know he never had a health or any other issue doing it.
I think as a supplement, it's a good idea.

I've heard a few Indigo breeders do that, raw chicken necks and parts, don't think I'd go that route, not sure why.

I purchased a pair of Subocs from someone on another site and they fed the adult breeders f/t wings regularly. I always wondered about that

Thanks Shane. I too was wondering if this would be a good suppliment to regular rodent feeding to add fat to Getula sp.with their high metabolism.I was not concerned with Salmonella and apologize to the above replies as they read bolder than i thought,as i feel the media blowing things out of proportion again when it comes to our safety ,after all we all know they research all the topics they report LOL.Have a wonderful day Chris
