beauty snake (yunnanensis ?)

RandyWhittington Jan 23, 2010 12:07 PM

This is a shot of a gravid beauty from years ago. I bought the pair when hatchlings as taeniura mocquardi but in the end I think they were more likely taeniura yunnanensis. To me they had more of a classic yunnan look about them. I produced a fertile clutch and then sold the pair but now wish I had kept them.
Any opinions?

I think you are right on the money, Randy. Looks like yunnanensis to me, too - great looking snake!
