Once they are close to a year, it's rare for a honduran to still try and bite as long as you don't restrain them near the head.

Thanks man, by the way your tangerine is beautiful. I was wondering, is it possible to breed hondos and pueblans as a mixed breed?

DMong Jan 24, 2010 10:01 AM

Honduran milksnakes are very flighty animals. Don't expect your snake to become a ball python in attitude. The biting will stop with age, but the nervous demeanor when held may remain its entire life.

They are great captives nonetheless. They eat. They tolerate husbandry mistakes.

As for mixing Pueblans and Hondurans, it is very possible - they breed readily. You will have a heck of a time unloading babies, as many folks will not be interested in paying money for such crosses. I wouldn't do it.

IMO, Pueblans are truly interesting animals, quite unique looking. They haven't been "altered" as much as Hondurans have. I would not take away from the Pueblan by mixing in hobby Hondurans. Leave the Pueblans out of it. You can spend as much money and produce neon sparkle hobby Hondos that sell or have trade value, rather than crosses that do not.

Maybe Dmong will buy the crosses. Just ask him.

Doug!!! I'm not really in the market for garbage like that....really I'm not. But I'm taking up skeet shooting to prepare for next Christmas as when I see that abomination-delivering Hybrid Claus and his companion Carmelita-the-Illegal I can tag 'em in the sky......LOL.

However I was recently perusing non-chalantly in the Yah-Sweden-Hobbyist classifieds and I saw you were in the market for those Austin Danger Powers Swedish-made penis pumps......never expected to see you there bro but hey, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.....seems you need more than just OUR support....BUT IT'S ALL GOOD BUDDY....it's all good. We still got your back while you work on the front.

Peace out big guy. (LMFAO)

Last time I heard, "hybrid Claus" was having trouble with his old junkyard carburator and fuel pump from his rusted-out gas tank in his '79 converted El Camino....., so hopefully he won't get it running by next Christmas to disburse any hybrid presents to the kids below..LOL!

Oh!, I was over there on the Swedish site to see if I could locate two tiny pumps for my snake's hemipene's for this coming spring..LOL!

BTW, what were YOU doing on the Swedish "P pump" website??
