tHE SNAKE ITS SELF IS A HYPO NO DOUBT.nOW YOU MUST PROVE IT OUT BY RECREATING IT.vERY NICE i GUESS THAT IS ONE OF THOSE MORPHS THAT JUST POPPED OUT.sOME PEOPLE HERE DO NOT SEEM TO BELIEVE THAT HAPPENS.iF i WANTED i COULD MAKE A LIST OF OOPS MORPHS. bUT i WILL NOT i TRULY ENVY ANY ONE WHO BREEDS SNAKES AND KEEPS SNAKES FOR THE LOVE OF IT YOU GO WITH YOUR BAD SELF.

Hmm-could be. Usually the black on the belly is more of a brown/tan than a black, but hard to tell for sure from the pic. That one's black is certainly reduced, but still looks black to me rather than brown/tan. Could you post a belly pic that is less exposed?

Looks like one.
Very cool looking snake.
I hatched one out this year that is similar, but I think your is more reduced.
here's a pic..
Instead of black this girl has a grey lavender belly. I thought I had only one but went back through some of the clutch and found another with a more brown grey belly.None have black anywhere else. These originated from those odd hogs with the spotting. One of the spotted albino's maybe sporting this belly as well. Won't know till this year or next if genetic.
But on a side note: It would be awesome to finally have true hypos to work with instead of Tpos
Best Regards,
Justin

i would say yes definatly a hypo.
i was taught that hypomelanistic by definition is lack of black not zero black. i could be wrong cuz ive never looked it up my self that is just my understanding.
i also know that there is a proven recesive gray bellied hypo that is being refered to as "charcoal belly hypo's" and they are really cool. maybe not the best single morph but will most def be a sweet combo!!
along with the other belly pic can we see a close-up shot of the eyes and tongue??
very cool snakes both of you.

Joe I love that red female. Can you send her here?

I am actually planning on calling them smoke hypos when I release them.
