All meat eaters have smelly poop. Cows, humans, BDs etc. Vegetable eaters poo barely smells at all. My skinks, uros, iguana have way less smelly poo.
On anther note. You are taking a tremendous risk putting that baby near an adult dragon. Adult dragons eat baby dragons and other small reptiles. Don't be fooled because the adult is so placid. There have been many many tragedies from miss judgement.
BDlvr is right....NEVER put a baby near an adult. Many people feel that because beardies are docile, seemingly friendly that they may have some kindly parental instincts toward smaller dragons. This is not so ! If a baby were placed in an enclosure with the parent, mom or dad would happily gobble them up.Even an 11-12" dragon can eat a hatchling.
Excessively smelly poop especially if rather runny is a sign of parasites. Wouldn't hurt to to get a fecal if you feel your dragon's poop is more smelly than it should be.
However, dragon poop is nothing like blue tongue skink poop...not only does it smell it seems to have a rather oily aspect of it, like thick tar. No fun to clean at all, especially when smeared over some cage furniture.

Funny. My BTS doesn't have smelly poop at all. I'd pretty much say no smell & there's no oily component either. Maybe you should think about changing it's diet or something. BTS's should be primarily vegetarians. The only meat mine gets is bugs and pinkies. Never any dog food or anything like that.
Its possible, mine don't seem to like to eat just straight vegetation, unless I mix in a little cat food to give it flavor, though I don't use cat food in every meal I give them. They certainly do like insects though and the occasional pinky.

Every other day mine gets a salad with 5 greens, same as the dragons. In the salad I hide a pinkie. About 50% of the time the pinkie is ignored. On top of the greens I put shredded butternut squash, an additional vegitable and a fruit. The fruit is most often raspberries or blackberries. On the opposite day I offer bugs. Usually supers or silks. Crickets tend to hide in the aspen bedding.
I will give this a shot...I do give my BTS's the same mixed greens/veggies as my dragon, but never thought to hide a pinky under the greens. The smell may entice them to eat the greens to get to the pinky...or I just go back to using a blender to mix all the greens/veggies bit of fruit...they would almost always eat the mash...grew lazy after awhile though, as it takes a bit of extra work to chop things up small enough to fit in the small blender I have (only bit enough to put maybe a cup of stuff). Its the clean up after that is more a pain LOL

I rip up my greens in appropriately sized pieces by hand. It's a little time consuming but they last longer and look way more appetizing. The best veg. I've found is Okra. Here I can get it fresh but you can also get it frozen in bags. I grate squash in a food processor and then use it all week to add color.
I think I get that here, but not every grocery store has it...will look for it next time I am at the produce market (usually have fresher and more variety of greens there thought its bit of a drive from where I live), going to be getting some milder weather next week so I plan to get all my greens then. Right now its too cold, greens would freeze by the time I get home, even if I have them in the car with me, instead of the truck. I also wish I can find mustard greens, but haven't been able to find them around here yet.

Around here we're lucky to have enough natural grocery stores that we can keep ours in dandelion greens. They're some of the best around.
