Feeding quetion

B_Lodge Sep 19, 2003 07:19 PM

I posted a message on her a about a week ago about my snakes not growing and not sheding. I was told that I was not feeding them enough and when i asked how much to feed I go no answer. I just got my first frozen mice today, hoppers for the larger one and fuzzies for the smaller, and before there were eating live fuzzies. They ate them fine after a little work but since I was no feeding enough I was wondering how offen should I feed them. Before I was feeding them every 5-7 days like I read and I tried feeding them 2 mice today and they would not take them. They are both babys got the first in march and other in may and I think that I am feeding the right size mice. If you can help please reply or email me, and if you need more info. on the problem you can email me too. Zombie_BL@msn.com

thanks for any help you can give me
Brandon

In your question, you didn't mention the weight, age or length of your Bp. Anyways, you're definitely feeding him too little. A ball right out fo the egg can eat an adult mouse. Switch to rats, and feed every 5 days. Can't answer much more, considering you didn't post any pertinent information.

I agree with you, a meal every 5 days is really too much!
