What is the difference between a Stillwater, OK. "Golden" Hypo Bullsnake And a Stillwater, OK. Hypo Bullsnake?
In my post below "fresh out of brumation" my big female is a Stillwater. OK."golden" Hypo Bullsnake, purchased as a baby from home grown herps, the male is a Stillwater. OK. Hypo Bullsnake, you can see that they look a little different.

Here's the pic

I see what you mean. I was admiring that big female earlier. It might be the photo, but her saddles look sort of purple. Whatever, she is amazing!
I never really noticed the purple until someone pointed it out, if you look at her under good lighting her blotches are edged with purple.

She looks different from the golden hypos currently for sale on Homegrown's website. Of course those are babies and yours is an adult, but still, you may have some whole new morph (if this is the correct term). I've never seen a purple one anywhere else.
I remember when i picked her out as a baby i picked out the one with the darkest black borders on the neck and tail and with the most solid looking blotches that weren't see through looking, most people were buying the ones with the most reduction of black pigment and that were overall lighter looking babies, i think the lighter looking babies grow up to have the see through blotches and no black borders on the neck and tail as these bulls lighten up as adults, i like the way the darker babies turn out.

I like the darker saddles, too. Here are my Kingsville redxStillwater Golden hypo babies as of this morning. One is obviously in blue, but you can see the dark saddles.

Here is Stillwater golden hype father.

Nice snakes, the thing that I don't find that attractive about the hypos is their 'bald' heads and how the patern on some gets washed out mid-body. Nice snakes tho for sure that y'all have.
Regular stillwater

She looks like she will have a yellow background with nice brown saddles. Very pretty. I like the way mine have dark heads with spots. Mine are part Kingsville red, so that prevents the "bald" look. LOL!
of your snake after it has shed. It has nice colors. If it's an 09 how large is it and what do u feed and how often? I haven't had mine long but she is slamming hoppers no problem and has noticeably grown since I get her about 3 weeks ago.

After they shed I will post pics. I weighed them this morning by scooping them up together and weighing them both at once then putting them back in their warm cozy nest before they could get disturbed. Together they weighed 498 grams, or about 249 grams each. I feed them about every 7 days and they now can eat two pre-killed weanling mice at a feeding. They were hatched April 30 and May 1 '09. By the time they have shed and new pics are posted they will likely weigh even more. Once they start eating they grow rapidly.
Nice. They're a few months older than my girl. Put some pics up now and then and let us know how they look at a year old in May.

I'd like to see some pics of that one after it sheds.

Here they are just before this last blue.

After they shed I will post pics. The brother is in full blue now, his sister is ahead of him by a few days.
No difference. It is the same bloodline.
There is absolutely no difference whatsoever between what is being labeled as a " Golden " hypo Stillwater, OK bullsnake, and what are Stillwater, OK hypo bullsnakes. The term, " Golden " is simply a simple marketing term, added onto the title of this incredible morph. Is the term accurate? Well, they are somewhat " golden " so to say, so it is not entirely off base. Can it create confusion? Well, due, to your question, it most certainly can!!
All morphs and the colors within can vary in shades. Ghost bulls can vary in degrees of white and faded yellow. Albino bulls can vary in shades of faded red and pinks, to sharp reds and oranges, and lavendars. Such as Stillwater Hypo OK bullsnakes, they can vary in degrees of orange, gold, tan, black, etc.. One thing is for sure, they ALL rule!!
Hope this helps!
