Question on silkworm growth?

silvertarpon Sep 19, 2003 07:23 PM

I have a 3 month old Panther and I just got him some silkworms. Now I ordered them small, and they are just about the right size. How can I slow down the growth of these worms so they don't get to big to fast? Now I am feeding them just a small amount once a day. Can I skip days of feeding or will this cause them to die. Thanks.

you can feed every other day, just a small amount. you will basically keep them in stasis that way.

Hi-

You can slow the growth if you want by feeding every other day. Make sure on the days you feed you offer enough food for all the worms. Also make sure you feed the worms you are feeding to your chameleon every day. Hope this helps!
