Basking Spots

DieEierVonSatan Sep 19, 2003 07:29 PM

I have stumbled across a new problem with my iguana. I have realized lateley it seems to have a harder time getting to relax in ita basking spots i have prepared for it. Do you have any suggestions for where to get a a log so it can rest itself proper? Or any other types of platforms that can be setup?

I believe that the width should be about as wide as they are so that they can get total support of their body. (thought I read that somewhere). Anyhow, I have read where some people just make an actual shelf for them to bask on. I use an old child's bookshelf with a ramp leading up to the very top of it that mine likes to bask on all the time. Fits her perfectly

Hope this maybe helps
