Thanks for asking Tom. Tails are doing good, and seem to be healing fine. That rat is still on the prowl, but havnt been able to set any traps because we have had rain for two weeks and the bait gets soggy and the zappers get wet. I still see him running out of the iguana area when I check on things at night. I wish I had a pellet gun with a night vision scope. That would be cool.
I get the damn things in the garage but luckily they haven't made it in the lizard rooms yet. Winter it the worst. Anyway glad to hear they are doing fine. What do ya think of all the alfreds and defensor coming available now? Hopefully there is some breeding success and a captive population can be established like with the melanosterna. How are the odies? Not much luck on this end-seem to be pretty nervous guys overall and do not seem to adjust well to change-even as captive bred.
Tom
I had the opportunity to get some of those defensors and alfreds, but these days I'm just not as motivated and just want to keep my "collection" smaller as to be freed up for my other hobbies. Hopefully the recipients of those two species can breed them and have a good small colony in the U.S.
