recomended min. breeding weight for male

just looking for some input on what is an acceptable minimum breeding weight for young male westerns

This has been covered a ton of times here. In my opinion, an absolute minimum for a fast growing yearling would be 45 grams. But age has much more to do with sexual maturity than weight. For example. A two year old, slow growing male at 40 grams will be a much better breeder than a fast growing, 9 month old 60 gram animal. Just look for a long, broad, mature looking tail.
