What type of sidenecked turtle? One of the african species? A new guinea species? Can't really tell you what it would look like without that info.

It is an african hypomelanistic.
All of the african I've seen have been pretty dark coloured, mostly dark brown(including my own). Hypomelanistic, just means lighter than normal, so it could be anything from a lighter shade of brown to almost an albino.

I have seen some Pelomedusa subrufa that were called 'hypomelanistic'. They basically looked kind of blond colored compared to the normal ones. It could be just a natural color variant of specimens from a different habitat.
They did NOT look albino though in any way.
