I had to show you all this picture. We had bought some poor quality sand that was orange. Only problem was, when it got wet, it stained the lizard's feet orange. In this picture, I'm soaking him to try to get it off. Never had any luck and he had orange feet for months! He finally shed his skin and he's back to normal.

....nice lizard-like being! Reminds me a lot of the Northern Fence Lizards (Sceloporus undulatus hyacinthinus) around here. (VA)

Somebody told me that a local pet store had some collareds so I went by and they had the Guyana collareds. I didn't get it but I thought about the species and wondered if there were any similarities to C. collaris. Does your guy have a detachable tail, the tail looks to have a "seam" in it, just curious. I like comparing herp similarities.

Welcome to the Collared Forum, we love collareds no matter what hemisphere they come from!

I bought him with his tail looking like that. Must have broke off a long time ago. Pictures I see online do not have that seam so it must have broken off and grown back.

That would make for a great yellow gloved collared. Thanks for the idea LOL. I think it looks cool!
