i noticed the day before artemis died that something was obviously wrong. she was very listless and weak. i force fed her some fruit "mush" through a syringe and got her to poop. then yesterday she was a bright yellow color and could barely move, i also noticed these "symptoms"
listlessness
muscle deteriation
weight loss
bright yellow color(usually tan)
twiching
stomach swelling
heaavy breathing
i kept her alive for a while but i knew there wasnt too much hope so i just tried to make her as comfortable as possible. she past at about 8:00 pm last night.
she was the first mali uro i have had and she was doing wonderfully with the new male that i got from geckoville. i was planning on breeding her this season until the unexpected turn in her health. she will be remember by everyone who met her and im glad she went as peacefully as she did.
i think i am going to hold off on the mali breeding a little while, i think i will get my leopard gecko trio first and then move toward getting another female mali.
blessed be artemis.
