Not to say all motion detectors are the same, but I have found that I can drive by one in a car very slowly and not trigger it! That is one that triggers a floodlamp... A python creeping along the ground is highly unlikely to trigger one. Remember there is esentially a "cone" of view that can be narrow in scope also. TJ
