Spirulina

MJCAdawg Sep 19, 2003 09:19 PM

I picked up this bottle of Spirulina capsules from GNC this afternoon-- I know it's good for feeding tadpoles, and i looked on the ingredients and it even has traces of chlorella ( i was gonna get both, but they didn't have chlorella.) But I hear that Spir. and Chlor. are good for your frogs and not just the tads. Does anyone use this with their frogs? I imagine to add an equal part or less to the herpcal and reptivite mixture, but everyone let me know what you do. It's supposed to help with their colors, right? thanks

I often put it in with my fly cultures.

Could you educate me on how you use Spirulina for the adult frogs and why it is good for them. Thank you.

Spirulina is used to increase the blue and greens and dart frogs, just like paperika. You can mix it into your FF media or you can add some to your vitamins and dust the ffs in it.
