we made him a oudoor pen out of bricks. hes been in it for a almost 2 weeks.(at night i brought him in) since hes so small we didnt think he could climb over something more than 2 times higher than him. when i got home from school he was gone. bricks or nothing different but he wasnt there. we looked all around the whole yard but didnt find him. could a bird or cat taken him? my mom once left him outside and forgot and we found him sitting in the lawn later in the day but now its dark. should i leave lettuce and water or AMYTHING so maybe hel come to it? im really stressed out what should i do just wait and hope for him to show up? sry bout this being so long

Chances are he didn't go real far. But, they are so hard to see that your best bet is to feel around with your hand. Good luck.

The key is definitly searching the yard from top to bottom, as soon as possible. The more time he has, the further he goes. Also, remember to search in, around, and under things. Don't give up though, if you have read my previous posts, you will see that even after an entire week of my tort being "out there" we finally found him and brought him home.

The main question is Did you cover the pen or not. If you didn't there is a high chance also that a predator came and took him.
