Got this 08 female in 2 months ago. She is almost 6ft and 100% het lipstick albino. The other animal is an 08 male hypo jungle as well, he is 100% het anery and 66% het albino. I hope he proves out cause he is from a lipstick x coral breeding.

Nice! Good luck with the pairing, i also have to ask how do you feed? 6ft 08 i wish my 08's were growing like that. We feed every 7 days 1 rat a week (with random weeks off now and again) and our 08's aren't that big. just curious how and what you feed to get them growing like that!

Trust me Boasphere , you do not want an 08 to be 6ft. All beauty aside, I believe that it is impossible for them to reach that size with any kind of ethical feeding schedule. It certainly can not be healthy. My 07 females are just passing the 5 ft mark , and I feel as though I've pushed some of them a little bit . I've seen a few of these 08's lately of outrageous size , and it just about makes me sick !!!

Oh i'm not trying to push my Boas at all personally, hopefully my once a week diet is good for them. i was just curious how alot of the 08's i'm seeing are getting so big. i;m not trying to knock anybody as i am just curious and am not trying to imply anything. i know the average is 7-10 days and we decided on every 7 days so we feed every week the same day. we actually feed females weekly and males bi weekly. Just recently we hadn't even fed anything in a month which is extreme for us we usually have a week or 2 where we clean them out and such now and again but we let them go for a month this time around which also isnt the worst being breeding season help get them in a cycle.

A whole heck of a lot more than if it was just a tripple het to a double het, because of the Jungle gene of course!

Hey Dave,
Nice female, is that the one you recently purchased from John? She's huge in comparison to the male, although he does look like he's grown quite a bit since you've had him. Are you planning to breed those two this year?

Kind of young for that female, even though she does looks big enough! Don't you have an older Snow you could put him on instead?
