I have about 20 10 gallons with the Wallyworld plastic tops. Make sure you screw the clips down fairly tight, put it on, then turn the screw enough that it is a little hard for you to move. Small snakes are notorious for escaping. I would also recommend the clips for the screen cage tops, using them are a hassle but a necessity! Cannot stress enough do not just weigh down the lids, you'll be sorry. Also, make it a habit to check each lid every time you put the snake back in, with fewer snakes it's easy, over time we all get complacent or try to multi-task and forget one. That's the time it gets out. Check out a rack from Target, in the office furniture dept. Plastic, white, seven sliding drawers with hinged lids. Burn air holes in them. They are 3" tall X 12" wide X 12" deep. A small water dish with hollowed out sides for a hide, aspen for bedding, a toilet paper tube stuffed lightly with slightly dampened moss. Great home for a year, best thing, lid snaps shut and slides into the rack, they can't pry it open, it's semi transparent, and can hold heat cable down the back. It's a Sterlite hobby rack. $29.00, 7 cages
