Today's shoot

mack1time Feb 01, 2010 08:57 PM

I had to do something to help pass the time while waiting for the last 3 weeks till my female is due . I decided to try and get some updates to the site and some new photos. Got through 3 of the 2009 boas. They are all 1 year old as of January 27th

Morpheus

Psyche

Atlas

I'm interested what all the "PROS" do to help pass the time waiting without going crazy???

GREAT pics, I have found pacing back and forth infront of the cage and banging your head against the wall on every pass works pretty good lol.

I am FAR from a pro but I dont think the goin crazy waiting for babies ever goes away lol.

This is my first year breeding boas and my first litter is due 3/5/10 and im pretty darn excited lol. I have bred carpets and corns and geckos etc and year after year I still go nuts waiting for them. The closer to the day it gets the worse the craziness gets.

Well I am certainly not a pro but being from Ohio its bad enough trying to get past the snowy winter blues. But if there is one thing that makes each tick of the clock go slower its having a few clutches of eggs in the incubator to stare at.. or walking in to see how fat your female boa is and still no babies.

I think you have the right idea. I use to set up what i thought was a little professional photo shoot background and take pictures of each snake and post pictures letting people out there know what I have and how proud i was of it. thanks for sharing your pics.. I dont think that you could have had better cooperation from your boa. What all types of litters/clutches are you expecting this year. I only have some pastel balls and sandfire beardeds on the oven right now.
