I picked these up this year and am just blown away at how beautiful they are. I love how the first white band connects near the ventral. I have been told that this is a locale specific trait of lake arrowhead parvs. This is the female.

LOL!! I bet it does ! Hey Jerry, so is it true about the first white ring connecting near the vent and that being locale specific to lake arrowhead? You would know.
By and large, yeah......almost every one from that area I've seen with that characterisitic. I've also seen some that have a cool mottling on the belly that reminds me of the ventrals on a corn snake. Awww hell, gota love 'em all....

That is VERY interesting indeed Joe!. It sort of reminds me of nice "text-book" nelsoni that have a more incomplete first black ring under the throat, as compared to Sinaloan's thinly connected, more pointed forward "V"-shaped ring under the throat.
Awesome looking snake dude!

Thank you sir Douglas! I really like them a lot. The black on their snouts is SOOOOOOOO black too.
LOL!!,....yes, the head on that certainly is VERY jet/enamel black!. Looks like it was painted with "Testors" model paint!

Killer Joe! They are beautiful kings among the best IMO! I don't think that is locale specific trait as I have seen this in other San Bernardinos. With the parviruba the first white ring should be on or just in front of the last upper lip scale. Very "NICE"! Bro!

Thanks Scott. These are the first ones I have seen with this trait so I was not sure. I do like it though!!
