Off topic question...

I need a chart that tells the nutritional values of various rodents. Proteins, calciums etc. I am trying to help our local aquarium/zoo do some research for thier turkey vultures. Since there is no turkey vulture forum I thought I'd ask the folks who know rodents as well as anyone can. LOL any ideas? Thanks

I know Rodent Pro used to have one on their website. Give that a try.

Considering turkey vultures are large carnivorous scavengers, i don't think looking into rodents would be a good idea for them. Any dead or near dead carcass would feed them. I suggest doing research online about the dietary needs of these large birds, as well as housing etc. Kingsnake.com isn't the only forum out there about animals (hmm in fact we do have a birdhobbyist site which may have a section on scavengers/birds of prey).

Rodent pro still has their nutritional chart on whole prey animals but it really is only a copy from another site (I found it one time awhile ago when doing a search for this. Rodentpro has a shorter version of the document the charts appeared in).
