a couple of old beauty snake shots

RandyWhittington Feb 07, 2010 12:35 AM

I took these shots of some fresh hatched blues and a taiwan with eggs around 8 to 9 years ago.
I still remember a black and white photo of a young taiwan beauty I saw in a book I checked out from the library years ago. The bold blotches slowly changing into the striped tail stuck in my mind.
I couldn't imagine coming across a monster sized taiwan beauty in the wild. That would be an impressive sight.

Nice pics and Beauties, Randy!

I agree about seeing any large Beauty Snake in the wild - would be awesome.

Seeing a bunch of lively neonate Beauties, and a female with good eggs, always makes me happy.

Randy, that big Taiwan is great! I love the deep, thick, black blotches on them. They are such a brutish, yet inspiring snake...
