To all my fellow rainbow breeders out there, what is the latest in the year any of you have bred your animals and gotten viable litters?? I've got several gravid females that were bred in mid november, but several other females I'd like to breed this year that havent!? Thanks in advance for any input!

Jeff,
....The last two breeding seasons I have not had enough cold weather in november and december to cool them. I kept them seperated until they had some cooling till february. I still had a few of them breeding into april with the last litters delivered in october. I am faced with the same situation this season. We had lots of cold weather in january after a very warm december. I cooled them thru early this month. I just put males in with females in the last few days. Some are breeding now. I used to have most of my litters in june and july. In recent years most of my litters have come late july thru october.
